I'm sorry that I don't know much about education system. I just know that it's very famous for their festivals in Spain like "La Tomatina" they throw tomatoes to each other and like "Fiesta de San Fermin" they put bulls to run after people at streets. It sounds exciting but dangerous.

ReplyDeleteAbout education system, I have no idea, unfortunetely.
But I know that now the goverment is putting great effort to strengthen people's English skills. That's why they send English teachers and people working at military to language schools in Ireland.(Why Ireland? Because it's cheeper than in England!)
I met them in Ireland and some of them spoke brilliant English!!

ReplyDeleteBut I know that university classes last from 8 in the morning to like 11 at night. Not the whole day through, but classes are open during these hours and students choose what classes they take.
Also, elementary school students go home during siesta time to enjoy lunch with their family and then go back to school for their afternoon classes.

I checked the website which has the information about educational system in Spain.
ReplyDeleteI think the feature of it is in "Vocational Education".
According to this website, vocational education aims at preparing students for professinal activity, providing a multiporpose training to enable them to adopt to job or job chenge that may occur throughout their life.
The government of Spain struggles to guarantee students their future throughout education.
