In the next class we will discuss different theories about how we learn. We will also have some time to brainstorm about the topics you want to do for the written report (due December 14th). In the comments, please tell us 2 topics that you might want to do for the paper. Please be specific about your topics. For example, if you want to write about a school case study, please tell us exactly which school. Or if you're thinking about researching "discipline," tell us what aspect of it you will write about (i.e. teacher effectiveness training, corporal punishment, etc).

I haven't decided the topic for the paper, but I want to research on the effects of punishments for students, especially how different punishments effect differently.

Because I am an international student, I have full realization of studying abroad, and also there are many students around me who have been abroad, from them I can do a survey. I’ve seen the videos of Ken Robinson, who is a famous educator and talked about the future education in TED and I was very interested in them, so I wanna investigate him.
